[FONT=&quot]What can you expect in the Field Service Technician position? [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Provide installation supervision and training of small to medium sized wind turbines [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Provide field service support for small to medium sized wind turbines [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Support pre-installation planning teleconference calls [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Provide remote support (phone or email) to dealers and end-customers in co-ordination with our technical services engineers at our headquarters in Canada. [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Provide crucial “lessons learned” feedback to product development engineers to support our [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Dedication to continuously improve our products. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]What kind of background is required to thrive in this position? [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Required Qualifications: [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Willing to travel often [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Valid passport with no travel restrictions (occasional international travel required) [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Intermediate to strong computer skills (Windows operating systems, installation of various programs, MS Office programs, etc.) [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage is covered) [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Ability to work independently [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Willing to participate in global teleconferences that occur outside of regular business hours [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Proficient with electrical troubleshooting: should be comfortable using a multi-meter and reading electrical drawings [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Proficient with power tools and hand tools (sockets, torque wrench, drill, calipers) [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Desirable Qualifications: [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Recent training for working at heights [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Wind turbine technician training is ideal; however, any electrical or mechanical technician training is sufficient if you have an ability to become a well-rounded wind turbine (electrical/mechanical/computer) technician. [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Experience working at heights, preferably in the small wind industry [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Ideal candidates would have a variety of experience testing and troubleshooting electrical, computer and mechanical systems [/FONT]
