fess up then who has been trolling Glen

Yep the RN and RAF WO are both good eggs, just have a look through their respective social Media, no preaching.

The initial issue which got people robbing him was his use of post nominals.

Then the preachy 10 steps you should do everyday to improve mental resilience, kettle bell phys videos, then telling the soldiers who brought issues to him, to report them through the COC, of that didn’t work come back at him (He didn’t see that they went to him because of the COC).
hmmmm....not too sure about the CASWO, Jake Alpert. I used to work with him and I don't recognise what I see on twatter now: lots and lots of D & I guff.

Wrong person for the job? If part of his role was social media (a veritable nest of vipers at the best of times), why was he not given a young, fit, keen, tech savvy JNCO to be his social media manager?

Im not sure taxpayer money should be wasted on paying the wages of a JNCO to run a shit twitter account for a WO1.

Maybe he isn't a good fit for it & someone will take the role. Thats fine & dandy but questioning his 'manliness' for a job because he's stated he's mentally suffering is not on quite frankly......and thats not aimed at you chap, but other(s) who are saying he should man up. Christ sake. Its MH awareness week too.....what a fcuking joke.
The account was deleted, prior to the deletion he got some very good advice from serving officers and SNCO saying what to do and how to do it, he may be suffering g from MH issues, he also did not post over the last six years about how he has been continuously trolled, he just flounced, over what seems to be people raising issues over food, accommodation, WhatsApp messages, counter covid instructions.

His online response to the above was raise it with your COC, who were mostly responsible for the issues, or posting exercise videos of himself with kettle bells, hitting a tractor tyre with a sledge hammer etc.

He made Mental Health week about himself, like the true narcissist he is.

My capbadge are now employing an ex-Regular JNCO INSTAGRAM influencer on RSDs, which he is fitting in and around his business. Social media is important and, if done correctly, is vital ground but I take your point above.

If people are going to flounce every time someone gives constructive criticism/calls them a baldy ****, social media isn't going to exist in the Army.

U.K. Military could withdraw posting on soshul mejah for a limited period in order to raise mental health awareness?

Like the soccer teams did to counter racism...

On the other hand, the MOD/GCHQ could fúck troll shít up!
Hack/Edit/ corrupt their user accounts, post embarrassing INT, etc?

Inspired by a U.K. TROOPS EYES ONLY brief given by a GCHQ bloke who informed the room to switch off all individual smart tech.
Of course, there’s always that one guy who didn’t take the advice.
The GCHQ bloke informed the remainder lots of info about him, where he resided, hobbies and interests, family and preferred porn sites. All on the big screen, too.
For certain MOD and OGD roles overseas, applicants are requested to permit a SocMed and internet search of their digital footprint by West Country folk before they move into sensitive roles, which is then passed to them in printed form in a sealed envelope. I understand it can be quite revealing...

There’s a PARA One Star who made a couple of posts about how he has blocked an account and the bum snorkelling is wonderful.

I bet Ches was one of them.

His career hasn’t prepared him for such comments, hence why I said infanteers are the wrong fit.

Having someone manage social media is certainly worthwhile.

TBH, a tech savvy JNCO wouldn't need a ruler when he wrote his replies!

I'm sure a senior WO1 is very adaptable to new situations...

No one likes criticism, from a spotty, fat child on Snapchat to grown men on Twitter, some adapt and some flounce.

Having someone manage social media is fine when its a general account of the Army or a unit. If you want to show the world how diverse you are and that the lads should **** off with their problems, then you are on your own.

Who would thought the Army is so weak that people cant just ignore what is written on Twitter and who would have thought ARRSE would defend such a ******* snowflake?

It's not a question of defending a snowflake, it's a question of pointing out that the CoC has put someone in a situation that they are neither equipped or trained to handle simply because the CoC needed a box ticking and an outlet for virtue signalling.

Whatever the individual's shortcomings, and they seem to be considerable, his mis-deployment by his superiors seems unrivalled in its innate cynicism since that of Uriah the Hittite.

To be honest it was a verified account t with the blue tick and all that, under the @SEAC user name, probably used his time on it to account for the hours he was working from home, I do wonder were he got that tractor tyre from during lockdown.

You make it sound like he was a tom who was deploying to Iraq with no equipment when in actual fact he had a Twitter account.
Did this bold leader of men chest poke those above him and tell them they were wrong or did he flounce like a child who have been told off?

Mis-deployment? Only in the sense that he appears to be a bit of snowflake, I bet he liked the pay and prestige that came with the position.

Its only taken him 3 years as ASM and 2 years as the SEAC to realise that perhaps hes not up to the job.

I sold it to him before I left.

Whatever your rank, if I am your superior, I have a responsibility not to hang you out to dry and not to encourage you in your folly to further my own purposes. I thought you of all people would agree with that sentiment.
