Feeling Bad.. I missed it...

  1. There wasn't [ surprise, surprise ] any offical public remembrance, and, I was too busy to get to the local legion on the date for any ' private 'remembrance.. so I missed it..

    can't believe there wasn't some official acknowledgement more widespread, not even a brief mention in the fishwrap that I could see,


    anyway.. A moment of silence, a lament and a toast with a bottle of the best, to all the fallen and those still suffering from the sad memories; to my fellow Canadians and their allies who went through it all.

  3. The 'Blood bath' of Operation Jubilee enabled the following sucess of the
    D-Day Landings.

    Mighty brave lads those Canuks...may we never forget their sacrifices and valiant efforts... and the RAF boys as well.
