    Channel 5 1145hrs-- Battle of the Somme (Documentary)
    Channel 5 1320hrs-- WWI in colour (Documentary)

    Then a break for a few beers in the pub & back home for the film--

    BBC2 at 200hrs one of THE BEST war films ever made (even tho it's a septic production) "The Bridge at Remaggen"

    Your welcome ventress.Some quality viewing especially the unseen footage of the trenches.Makes you wonder how we in the modern army would cope if we went back in time to the Somme. Would we have the bottle to face what they did? I hope so but considering the era & the hardship back then,I doubt it.
    Hats off to them.

  8. Why not save time and effort , don't bother kicking a ball about for 90 minutes , just decide each match on penalties
