Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Thoughts go out to the family. RIP mucker.
  2. Swinging now, Mucker, Swinging now.
  3. RIP Warrior
  4. He might not actually be a scaley at all, but in the big scheme of things it matters not a jot.

    RIP mate.
  5. RIP. Stand down mate.
  6. God Bless
  7. Rip Fella

"Task Force Helmand spokesman Lt Col Gordon Mackenzie said the death was not thought to be as a result of hostile action"

Does 'ANA solider going beserk' constitue hostile action? Or is this a blue-on-blue issue?
  8. Speculation for another time and thread. However, "ANA soldier going beserk" constitutes hostile action in my humble opinion.
RIP to the fallen soldier and condolences to friends and family.
  9. It's also the phrase normally used to describe something that's been an accident or self-inflicted, whether accidentally or otherwise.

Now's not the time to speculate though, it'll be released in due course if we need to know about it.
  10. FYI Green on blue is the buzzword.
  11. Edited at request of MOD- RIP mate.
  12. Rest In Peace Soldier.
