Farage’s big return

Absolutely.

Millions of us are still going to vote for him though.
You have the right to vote for who your choose, as I have the right to suggest the Emporer is wearing no clothes.

We can disagree like gentlemen!

We can indeed, sadly there are other posters who are verging on hysteria because we Leavers won't change our minds because Farage isn't perfect.

I don't think many here think Farage is the messiah, he is just offering an acceptable alternative to the Corbyn and May shambles
Personally I don't think it matters than The Brexit Party doesn't offer anything much beyond the EU elections. We're all voting Brexit Party for the express purpose of pushing the UK back on track for Brexit.
The Brexit Party is a single issue party. It just so happens that its that very single issue that we are all pursuing.

The emperor isn't wearing any clothes? I don't think any of us care.

I don't really mind it being single issue, I'd just like to understand what their solution to the issue is.

I don't quite want things in tablets of stone (although that was hilarious when that labour tool did it). Just written down so I can read what they think is a plan. And then hold them accountable afterwards. Which is what I'd like to do with them all.

To my somewhat simplistic mind that's easy
Leave the EU, with or without a deal. But really leave, not tie us in to a semi Brexit WA

If its hard Brexit because the WA is the only other option then hard Brexit it is.

I genuinely don't know Shaggy. I reckon anyone who claims they do know what is going on is badly briefed.

You're not going to get a plan, that for the suckers to sort out and get the blame for it not working. As it always was, including the referendum.

Slight amendment to your quote, not to misrepresent it, but in my opinion to make it more accurate. Both sides, remain and leave, were not exactly forthcoming with the "truth." I ignored all of them. My decision was based wholly and solely on having lived through the last forty years under the original EEC, and what it's become. You too may have lived through this era, in which case we'll also have to agree to disagree.

I caught Farage explaining on TV last week.

I don't know why it wasn't/isn't repeated, used, explained more often?

Apparently, we leave under WTO arrangements. We then (can) invoke clause/paragraph 32 (might have been 22?), of the WTO terms.

That allows us to continue to trade - JUST TRADE - with the EU for a two year period, under existing terms.

During the two years the UK can pick, negotiate, choose, decide, the long-term arrangements.

Which is what we SHOULD HAVE DONE, two bloody years ago !!

+ + + + + +

See helpful/informative @Jimmy_Green post below . . .

It is Article 24 that you're thinking of.

No-deal Brexit and WTO: Article 24 explained

A ‘Managed No Deal’ WTO option using Article 24 of GATT can avoid raising tariffs or quotas

Back to 21 would be a reasonable move.

And some sort of basic test to ensure people actually know who/what they're voting for.*

*That'd be any socialist party f**ked off for good.

I'd be quite happy to give up the right to vote altogether as long as I got 52 year's worth of tax back but as long as the government of whatever persuasion is taking money out of my pocket without my consent then I want the right to hoof them out every 5 years.

Merely for information . . .

Dear Supporter,

We had a fantastic turnout at the recent rally in Rainton Meadows, and supporters took away over 2,000 correx boards to display at home.

We have plenty more where they came from! If you want to display a board at your home to show your support as well, then please get in touch with us on the details below:

Northumberland, please email: northumberland@thebrexitparty.org

Tyne and Wear, please email: tyneandwear@thebrexitparty.org

Durham, please email: countydurham@thebrexitparty.org

Cleveland/Teeside, please email: john.tennant@thebrexitparty.org

We have less than two weeks to go to change politics for good at the European elections and you are a vital part of that change.

Thank you for all your support and please spread the word!

Best Wishes,

John Tennant
