Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Having watched a vast number of rugby games lately and seeing some greats on the sidelines and in the studios I decided it was time to compose a fantasy Baa-Baas squad. And in the spirit of the Baa-Baas the team may not be the best but probably one of the best to watch IMO.

    15. Mark Van Gisbergen (Eng & Wasps)
    14. Serge Blanco (Fra)
    13. Tim Horan (Aus)
    12. Jason Little (Aus)

    10. Barry John (Wal)
    9. Gareth Edwards (Wal)

    2. Sean Fitzpatrick (NZ & Aukland)
    3. Tom Smith (Sco & Northampton)
    4. John Eales (Aus)
    5. The Baron (ARRSE)
    6. Jason White (Sco & Sale)
    7. Richie McCaw (NZ & Canterbury)
    8. Zinzan Brooke (NZ)(c)

And they'd have to be coached by Jim Telfer.

    Anyone got any better ideas?
  2. 15. Gavin Hastings.
  3. Had thought that originally but thought Gizzy was a better entertainer.

Big Gav would defintiely make it in a Fantasy Scotland XV all with Armstrong, Calder, Jefferies and Patterson.

Thats my complete team, there were some I had to take as subs, but JPR Williams was always going to be in the 1st Team!
  6. Who'd be yer skipper? Or would you lead from the front?
  7. Set up an arrse team to go about beating the fantasy team. Got 1 and 5 sorted. First come first serve madmag for 13. Any others want to play against the greats and what would be the score??
  8. As much as I would love to do it myself, it would have to be Tana Umaga for haka value.

Andy Sheridan doing the theres a thought!
  9. Don't know about the first two halves but we'd win the third! 8)
  10. I reckon my side kicks arrse.

    Thats my team
  12. You've got to be kidding. England and the Saints have got better wingers than Cohen.

Tom Voyce, Tom Varndell, Rhino Rudd, Jon Clarke, Mark Cueto, Delon Armitage and Steve Hanley to name a few off the top of my heid.

    Not to mention Sean Lamont.

Unless its handed to him on a plate he does feck all in attack. And don't even start with his defensive work..
  13. Don't be silly! Popham would wipe the floor with him.

Popham and Dallaglio, two phenomenal number 8's
  14. Cohen is very good in defence, Varndell is useless! why is he even allowed to play?
  15. Cohen is shocking in defence. Any world class winger should be able to cover for the full back, Cohen can't as was proved against Ireland this year.

Varndell is a huge potential for the future, you pick him so he gain experience.

Edited because me little fat fingers and a bout of keyboard rage led to poor spelling
