Famous People from the Corps

#1
It was recently brought to my attention that none other than James Bond himself (Sir Roger Moore) was a member of the Corps...

Do we have any other illustrious ex-members?

Bernard Lewis I believe..

Please try and keep up. This has been done at least once before. Including whiskeybreath's favourite MEP.

The editor of Private MI used to be quite a famous chap . The Drill Instructor from Bad Lads' Army is certainly famous. One of Bronski Beat is allegedly an ex member of the Corps.

CR is also quite well known, but I suppose that would go in the infamous people from the Corps thread.

Where's the evidence for that one then? Winklepedia says that he was in the Royal Army Service Corps: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Moore and then transferred to the "Entertainment Branch" - although I can see how that might be confused with the Corps....:)

Pearly Spencer is another

I understand that a number of litterati from the Hay Book Festival may also be up for consideration by the board, along with SQUARE MILE.
