Did you find any more details over and above the rosters?

I had two ancestors serve in different PA infantry regiments. I managed to narrow down which company they served in and where/when they were killed but an ACW version of unit war diaries would be great at filling in the gaps.

Not yet. I’ll do some further digging this week. An interesting revelation that I’ve just discovered is that Pinckney’s mother in law (my 5x great grandmother) was a Cherokee Indian, or part Cherokee Indian.

I would’ve thought my suntans would’ve been better to be honest.
