Falklands War.... Questions, of a quizzy nature.

#1
Chaps,

I'm on a telly quiz recorded Jan 11th. My "specialist subject" is Operation Corporate. I've done 4 online quizzes, only ones I could find, and while I scored okay on them I discovered that the questions other people ask are VERY different from the questions that I would ask if I were writing them..... If you see what I mean.

I'd appreciate it if anyone with an interest could stick a few Q's up for me to answer... Sensible ones. I don't know which member of 2 Para lost his socks on May 22nd... So if you can help... Go for it.

(German/Argentinian tinfoil hat wearers need not apply)

First Black Buck mission was captained by Flt Lt Martin Withers [public domain].

Eleven [check that] Victor tankers were needed to support one Black Buck mission.

Read up on the different missions [iron bombs and ARMs] and don't forget the broken probe that led to the diversion to Brazil.

ONE bomb hit the runway, because you always use a diagonal cut for the stick. [OK, the first bomb hit the runway, the rest walked gently through accommodation and tech areas  ]

The Brits won.
