Again, the following role is up for grabs. Facilities Assistant Manchester Facilities Assistant required for Trafford Park site. Main Responsibilities (excuse the cut and paste from the HR document )  Ensure that any facilities related problems are logged, notified to the relevant contractors or supplier, monitored, reviewed and resolved as efficiently as possible.  Arrange out of hours access for Contractors as and when required ensuring that the appropriate permissions, method statements and Health and Safety policies are obtained.  Act as prime contact between maintenance contractors, security guards and Operations staff.  Generally to provide a suitable working environment for staff visitors and contractors.  To provide effective support to the business to enable operations to run efficiently and effectively.  Maintain the Facilities handbook with comprehensive up to date procedures and a list of all key building suppliers and contractors.  Participate in health & safety meetings.  Perform a proactive daily walk round check of the facility as an accident prevention exercise.  Perform monthly Health & Checks on site and any other offices occupied by ourselves. Any problems arising should be reported and resolved as soon as possible.  Provide H&S support for new recruit inductions as required.  To organise and coordinate Fire Warden and First Aid training, and keep the published lists up to date.  Provide day to day support for the Facilities Managers and other senior managers upon request.  Observe and promote the companies core values. The salary will be £24,000. This is significantly higher then most Facilities Assistant pay but the sum reflects the importance of this role and of the expectations it will bring, ie, decision making, executing service delivery issues ect. You would be working in a professional, cohesive and high profile team of managers, all with a forces background. Fixed term for a year with a workable shift pattern in force.
