  1. Hi guys!

There are other posts regarding this but I'm not exactly sure what all the big fancy words mean. Basically all I know about my eyesight is that my left eye is -3.75 and my right eye is -4.75. Does anybody know if this is acceptable to join the Royal Military Police?

    Thanks in advance,

  2. Lauren, those numbers form part of your prescription i.e. the way the lens needs to be shaped in order to improve your eyesight. It's not a measure of visual accuity.

    For RMP the standards are...

Left eye - with glasses 6/36 (2nd line down on a standard eye chart)
Without glasses - basically 'see the chart'

Right eye- with glasses 6/12 (5th line down on a standard eye chart)
Without glasses - basically 'see the chart'
