Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Jack Straw has announced that he feels an extra £10,000 for all MP's for communications is reasonable and value for money. He states it will allow them to contact their constituents more effectively. The total cost will come to around £4.5 million.

It will give MPs more flexibility in their communications but critics have said it will just allow them to do party politics at the cost of the taxpayer.
Straw said it 'will allow them to get their message across'

In the current climate with HMG and cuts I don't feel this is somehow a good way of spending taxpayers' money. Do you?
