Let’s face it, if it don’t involve a ship/boat, ex matloes must have a heck of a job finding real employment. When they leave the service?

No tie, looks to casual, seen some action, mostly dodging the nancy boys in the showers it seems!

Do they give a Walt medal for Long Service, Good Conduct & Walting Above & Beyond the Call of Duty?

I know that look. It's the look of a trained killer, jaded by numerous operations. He's staring at you, daring you to see if you have the bollox to stare back at his picture.
I can't look him in the eye.
I'm too impressed with the multicoloured barcode above his breast pocket.

Any medal spotters want to decipher the world of gongs he's displaying?

The one certainty about con men is they come back to their deceits again and again. Sadly, many of their crimes go unreported as victims feel embarrassed about their folly

I've worked for ex-matelots - they can't make decisions, everything goes up to the skipper (i.e. the MD), who makes the decision, then back down the chain to the manager.
