Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Mr. Paul Hellyer, former Minister of Defense and former Deputy Prime Minister under Pierre Trudeau, has called for public hearings with a view toward establishing Canada's policy on diplomatic relations with civilizations from other planets.

Mr. Hellyer expressed concern that actions by the Bush administration which could be construed as provocative by space aliens could precipitate inter-stellar warfare:

"The United States military are preparing weapons which could be used against the aliens, and they could get us into an intergalactic war without us ever having any warning. He stated, "The Bush administration has finally agreed to let the military build a forward base on the moon, which will put them in a better position to keep track of the goings and comings of the visitors from space, and to shoot at them, if they so decide."

Mr. Hellyer's call for hearings has taken on an international dimension:

"The Disclosure Project, a U.S.– based organization that has assembled high level military-intelligence witnesses of a possible ET presence, is also one of the organizations seeking Canadian Parliament hearings."

  2. Damn, you beat me to it by minutes, NWD!
  3. You just can't make up this sort of stuff. Hellyer was a moron in 68 when he amalgamated the three distinct branches (Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army and Royal Canadian Air Force) into the Canadian Dis-armed Forces. Since then he has grown and become a delusional, whack-job moron.

Sorry, gotta run, I have Spaceman Spiff on line 2.

    To Infinity And Beyond!!!
