Ex-blokes

#1
Went to the Mathew St festival yesterday in Liverpool on the lash, me and two other REME blokes were in Walkabout and there was a bucking bronco. The bloke operating it and acting as compare was ex-Engineers home from CP work in Baghdad. When he found out we were squaddies he announced it to the packed pub (to our annoyance) and had us up on stage downin pints through each other's sock and other troop like behaviour. The crowd was lovin it and so were we, all 3 of us were gettin bird's numbers and as a result I've been nailin' some bird in her flat in Liverpool all day today :D . To that man I would like to say a big heart felt CHEERS

Anyone else have a day like that today?

I may be being stupid, but how do you down a pint through each others socks?

Is this a tried and tested scoring technique?

Do you create a sort of 'Filter'?
I'm going to experiment with my own socks this morning.

Is that a natural progression. RE, big timing it about CP in the sand pit to running a Bucking Bronco? Mind you I think I spot a link, the word cowboy springs to mind!
