The two leading petitions (about photography and student loan interest calculations) both seem, from the tone of the response to be based on a misunderstanding by the petitioners as to what's going on...

Far be it for me to be cynical, but if the petitions were removed - and as their underpinning premises appear to be nonsense, you'd have thought that they would be - this would put the hunting repeal at the top (which perhaps explains why they haven't been removed). Most importantly, though, if we reject the two petitions that are there under false pretenses, as it were, the Gray's Lane petition becomes the second ranking petition.

Therefore, if people signing the Gray's Lane petition refrain from taking the opportunity of supporting the hunting repeal petition while they're on the No.10 site (as appears to have happened), it might be possible for the petition to be the leading one on the site that is actually properly grounded in fact by the time of the meeting tomorrow.

Just a thought. To disguise a gratutious bump...
