I am in a quandry this morning and not too sure which way to vote.
I cant vote Labour for all the obvious reasons (and haven't since 1997) and I imagine even my father who was a stout Union man and life long Labour voter would balk at letting that particular group of Stalinists anywhere near power.
So I'm left with BP which I like the idea of mainly as a FU to all the major political parties thanks to their disgusting self-serving behaviour, but only too well aware may well be a wasted vote round here and allow a Commissar to get in. So have to consider Tory and feel dirty afterward.

Civic duty carried out, and I didn't vote for the Communist Party or the Illiberal Undemocratic Party...so true Blue it was.

I think the Tories are going to romp it.
I'm hoping for a hung parliament and the DUP getting their revenge for the big knife currently sticking out of the back of Unionism in Northern Ireland.

If its a hung parliament in Corbyns favour, the DUP will have some bigger problems to worry about.

Genuine question: Why "feel dirty" about voting Tory?

Is it because of the general assumption that Tory=Evil? Part of the "Never Kissed a Tory" T shirt wearing*, Nai Bevan "Rats" quoting, thoughtless categorization of the most successful and popular political party in the country, as less than human. I worry that the liberal / left media barrage has won the battle for this assumption, because it's so rarely responded to.

* Incidentally the best response to a female wearing a "Never Kissed A Tory" T-shirt is "But I bet you've been F**ked by a few".

I think the next thread/poll will be "Who is the next Leader of Labour going to be?"

:)

And numerous posters have provided examples and links to the internal Labour dossier that directly implicated Corbyn himself in direct acts of anti-semitism.

It seems that you have a very closed mindset. Typical socialist - you love diversity except diversity of opinion.

You are a despicable anti-Semite apologist and terrorist supporting Marxist. No wonder you can’t get into a decent London club and have to use the VSC....
Nobody has provided those links as far as I can see, and I'm still waiting for examples of Corbyns anti Semitism.

Only time I've been to the VSC was on duty, No. 1 Dress.

You seem very angry, dear. Why not express your anger with massive overreaction, lies and hyperbole?

Oh, you have.

I'd love to believe my vote could make kingmakers again, but I really think the Tories will hit around 350 seats this time and all the Tory MP's this time will back the government.

Oh and ps..If Labour do require the DUP as a confidence and supply partner, does that mean we stand to get 1 trillion this time to prop up the government?

Its doubtful they would work with the DUP, which means if you think you were thrown under the bus by the Conservatives, wait until Corbyn gives Northern Ireland to the south.

Yes, but it will be paid* in turnips.

* Obviously payment will come in the form of a promissory note which may (will) be devalued due to Exingencies of the Party, comrade.

It's a dangerous assumption to make that the Tories are a shoo-in.

We've all done things which have made us feel dirty.

But back to the election . . .

I will miss the Corbyn thread which, I might point out for future students of this turbulent political period, also contains an extensive Job Hazard Analysis relating to shagging Diane Abbott. Truly, Arrse's forensic examination of Corbyn and his works has left no stone unturned and we would be a much better use of the license payers' money.

I'm quite aware of Labours positions throughout the years on a United Ireland. I hope the Garda and IDF have a major recruitment drive planned, just incase Corbyns elected under the stewardship of Diane Abbott counting the votes.

Do/did your polling stations open today (Thursday) or Friday?
Just trying to work out the timeline here down under and when I should tune in for the exit polls.
