Englands most beautiful Village?

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. It's a tough one. Lavenham is exceptional but Fingest, Turville (Vicar of Dibley) and Hambledon in the Chiltern Valley near where I grew up are where my heart lies.

  2. PandaLove, I think you've accidentally posted on ARRSE instead of the Country Life website.
Although if we think laterally, then Upton on Severn in Worcestershire has a road called Minge Lane, which must make it worth a mention.

  3. Id like to put forward the tranquill village of Higher Broughton , near Manchester
Its pleasent streets and Victorian terraces resound with happy childrens voices, and the many local parks have ammenities such as bowling greens, childrens play areas and band stands
