We use TA infantry + RAF medics for that job, they use SF.

We laugh and get on with it, they practice the thousand yard stares for the cameras.

I always thought PJ stood for Pararescue Jumpers (Pee Jays)

Bit like our SAR loadys but with more infantry training and a nice Red Beret

Basically they're doing the same job as our MERT chinooks, it used to be down to who got off the ground first, but it's their train set now.

To be honest, I thought PJ stood for Pararescue Jumper as well. I was struggling to understand what the narrator was actually saying due to his mumbling. But what do you expect, it was on the Guardian?
