Empty Cartrige cases: Controlled items in the UK

Brownells France is amazing so long as you don't wany anything from them.
But if they can be arsed to sell you something it takes about 6 to 8 weeks.

I miss the days off buying brass direct from the spams.

Brownells now have a hub in the E.U so it's much quicker than it used to be assuming it's in stock , but the current problem is that anything made in the US is in short supply , the Septics stockpiled at the beginning of Covid and when Biden got in .

I have been chasing and following the ITAR trail as and when time allows.

Apparently a lot of stuff was re-classified as, "meh, not too dangerous, and we can make more money if we have less export admin".

As a result fair bit of the man-portable, non-military shooty stuff has been passed over to the Department of Commerce for export admin. At the moment I am in contact with a Special Agent from the Bureau of Industry and Security who is going to try and point me in the right direction to make sure I don't get locked up.

Apparently even my whizzy fig, electronic, Peltors are also export controlled.
