A company I know, who produce specialist software for managing quality and safety, are looking for a Sales Manager for their Aviation Sector. The role would be based in East Kilbride and would have an "Attractive basic salary with uncapped OTE + benefits".

"Your key responsibilities will include:
· Achieve defined sales targets & manage key performance indicators
· Identify & network with the key decision makers in each account
· Increase sector sales
· Promote company capabilities direct to clients and via Exhibitions
· Technically promote the benefits and solutions
· Identify new market trends, opportunities & partners
· Communicate customer requirements to internal professional services consultants & product support teams
· Continuous development of contact structure in Executive, Department, IT & Procurement
· Detailed reporting of customer communications using CRM e.g. Sage / SalesForce etc.

To be considered for these important positions, you must have the following skills / experience:
· Successful solution & consultancy sales track record & demonstrated ability to close deals within an IT environment is a mandatory.
· Experience of selling software solutions within the Aviation sectors, such as airlines, business jets, maintenance organisations and airports would be advantageous.
· Ability to develop strategic business relationships at the highest levels.
· Confident, self-motivated & focused.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Technology minded / qualified (full training will be given).
· Flexible with time and travel commitments (overseas travel will be required).
· Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM & mind mapping)
· Good presentation skills.
· Ability to work alone and within a team environment.
· Detailed orientated.
· Gravitas, vision & high levels of drive and energy to make things happen and to be successful."
