Good actor, especially in The Wicker Man. Not a bad singer, either. I also recall him in his early role as a spy, but my bloody memory fails me ..................nope, it's back! Callan.
  4. Indeed, truly a "Red file for Callan" today...

Why does Edward Woodward have so many "d"s in his name? Because if he didn't he would be called Ewar Woowar...top bloke.
  5. Edward Woodward as nev in "Common as muck" Great actor.
  6. RIP .......... Ewar Woowar

wooden or wicker coffin :?:  :?:

Following the passing of an actor famed for his role in the Wicker Man, a commerative mahogany plaque is to be placed in the area of the Royal Cornwall Hospital where he spent his final moments.

Or would 'Wood for the Edward Woodward ward' do :?:

I presume given his age he was a national serviceman?

    Great actor, RIP
  12. The Equalizer was the one thing we always watched on a monday?.. on BFBS in Germany, before hitting the NAAFI of course.

    Great days

  13. A great actor (I think it was Gielgud who called him 'Fart in the Bath' - he said that's what Edward Woodward sounded like.)

  14. can't find any info - it looks like his call ups cards never arrived
  15. Oh, I thought it was all about equalizing pressure?
