They state it's due to manpower issues, but this is not the case. I work in a 'sqn' known for single minded people, they tend to believe everything revolves around the RAF and that there's no life outside it. Ultimately it's come down to a junior officer who's been in ten minutes and is atleast 5 years my junior deciding my future.Sorry to hear that, and to think, we all consider the RAF to be super-reasonable and fluffy! What are their reasons for declining an early release?
