My grandfather was a member of 'E' Bty 11th HAC, and I have recently managed to get my hands on copies of his letters home and his diary (need to ensure the originals are well kept somehwere)

I was wondering if anyone had any info on this group of people. I keep picking up bits from here and there, but the more the merrier.

I have so far contacted the HAC, who were helpful to a certain degree, but as Grandpa was not a 'member' (we was an outsider drafted in to make up for the war losses and expansion) they don't have much.

I have been in contact with a few members of the Bty, but most joined it after Grandpa was captured (Libya, 1941). But have a list of people to contact and am working my way through it.

Anyway, if anyone has any info they can direct in my direction i would appreciate it.
