Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Tried to play a DVD on my shiny new DVD multi recorder type thingy ( can you tell I'm Technically minded) in Window Media player and got the following message :

Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.

It gave me some nice links to pay for decoder programs so I googled free DVD decoders and got a lot of links with the dreaded spyware attached. So I was wondering if the good people of ARRSE might be able to point me in the direction of such a program that costs nowt and is spyware free

    Cheers in advance
