  1. Afternoon,

Just a question that's been bugging me a bit. Several times I have managed to let water in over the sides of my GoreTex boots, and the Gore liner seems to be as good at keeping the water in the boots and keeping it out. This means the boots quickly start to stink of muddy training area water and it's not very nice.

I have been told I shouldn't put soft leather boots in a drying room? Usually I end up just using a towel on the inside which kinda works but I just wondered if there are any better / quicker / less attention required methods out there?

  2. i find stuffing them with newspaper works.
  3. Stay in the minibus.
  4. Cheers, I will try (more hardwearing) newspaper next time, I used thinner paper before and it took ages to get it all out, like when you leave a tissue in your jeans and put them in the washing machine.
  5. if there really wet change the paper after an hour or two.
