  1. Hi,
I'm doing my pre adsc in a couple of weeks, and I'm hoping to be an RLC
driver/communications specialist, I'm researching about it more indepth for my icebreaker, and I can only find phase 1 training that happens in
pirbright for 14 weeks, I just can't seem to find phase 2, or even if there is a phase 2. If anyone could help with anymore information I would
    appreciate it alot, thanks.
  2. If it's still the same as when I did it, phase 2 is at the Defence School of Transport in Leconfield up there in the heathen north.

After however long it takes you to complete driver training you start at the CSSSD for what was then a four week course.

This was all in 1994 when I did it though so things may have changed since then, I can imagine with the more complicated comms systems being used now that the course may be a bit longer
  3. Ah fair enough, I'm looking about on all different sites and it's just telling me after your 14 weeks in phase one you then have your passing out then go into training. Thanks for your help though appreciated, I'll look more into it.
  4. As Mac rightfully said its done at Leconsfield is is now approx 5 weeks after your initial approx 12 weeks Driving, this is all on your job brief you should get from the ACIO.Just out of interest why is this in helpful tips forumn???
  5. Ok well cheers for the help, and in answer to your question..I'm new? Haha sorry :)
