Irish whiskeys generally are; it is only the Scots who are too tight to take the time to blend them instead of forcing their dreadful single malt muck onto people who know no better...

If you want to pay Â£17 for a bottle of blend then go on, go on, go on.

Stick to the good old single malt - the Irish Whiskey is addling your brains.
Actually Irish whiskeys are rarely blends. Scots whiskeys are known for it.

Just tucking into a rather nice bottle of Lord Astors 1969 Malt at the moment; top drop!
Ah well, seeing as the Irish invented it and are still the only country doing a pure pot still whiskey I don't think we need worry what the Scots say.
