The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Just curious. Never read a drill manual but is there an all encompassing descriptive assessment of what Parade Square drill actually is??

i.e Parade Square Drill is intended to command a body of men to effect certain movements in a synchronized yet soldierly like fashion......

The above are my own words but is there an official recitement in any drill manuals.

  2. Yeah, the first chapter teaches what drill is, and the purposes of drill. The rest of the manual is the guide on all the movements, for teaching. ^^
  3. The purpose of the movement is to enable you to as a body of men to (whatever you are teaching) in a smart, uniformed and soldier like manner!

Rifle drill is, to enable you to provide a specticle at a Military Parade or in an aid to rest a Limb!
  4. Cheers Thomothehun,
