Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Question,

Would a professional premier-league team beat a leading international team (football or rugby) given that £££s talk volumes and the leading teams can afford the worlds best players and that league clubs train and play together far more regularly?

Eg, Would Chelsea beat Germany? Or Leicester beat Wales?

    Has it ever been done?
  2. could engerland beat russia.............................................oh wait a minute they can't.
  3. i did say leading international squads - not overpaid buffoons!
  4. If it was ahome and away knockout we beat the russkis 4-2,but alas its not.I don't think they are overpayed buffoons, just the best we've got at mo.I seem to remember the rugby squad getting slated in the first three games, then some weeks later they are all hero's fighting the gallant cause .

As for your question ...why would they want too? who'd be interested?what would be the point?
  5. Surely its done every time when France (Arsenal) play any international team.
