Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Is it possible to copy YouTube videos on to DVD?
I recently found all 12 episodes of a documentary I loved watching as a kid on YouTube and as the VHS I've got with them on is on its very last legs I was hoping to be able to download the episodes on to my computer and on to DVD so i can continue to watch and enjoy them.

  2. What's the Docu? If you can say, that is...

  3. Forgot to add, that if you really wanted, you could use Nero or something similar to burn it to DVD with menus and chapters

  4. Why download. Why not just stream to your TV?

  6. I use Avid S16 burn them as a blue ray disks therefore 2 hours on a disk in HD

  7. Which is the downloading add-on that appears as an extra button on the Youtube front page, next to the name of the video being shown? I had it on this machine but lost it during one of my periodic computer catastrophes.

  8. Download Videos

  9. Realplayer seems to have been stopped by Youtube from downloading as it used to be able to; I think there was a legal case about it.
