Double taps

This afternoon I've seen three distinct posts by three different posters, each double tapped. One was in the Carol Vorderman thread, one in a thread about a funny book about army life in the 60-70s. Can't remember the first.

Smacks maybe of something running slow or an index of buffer being full.

Good luck debugging that.

Army life in the 60's = the poster is old.
Thinking Carol Vorderman is fit = the poster is old.

I'd check them for Parkinson's disease before debugging the site.

I got all excited at the thread title, even got out my special sock, then I discover it is not about double tapping targets.

In a similar vein, on one thread , where I'm attempting to reply to a direct question, I keep on getting:

'Oops! We ran into some problems. Please try again later. More error details may be in the browser console.'

The thread isn't locked, and I can post on other threads (as evinced by this one).

On a phone I get that when posting links eg
https://somewebsite

If I amend it to http ://somewebsite, the link still works and I can reply.

Thanks, but no joy. I'm using the same laptop that I normally use, and as I said, I can still post to other threads.

Roger. Asked a Mod if you’re banned from it?

If you're posting a link put something in the text field.
