Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Here's a maths test that can predict your all time favourite film.
Work it out, then check the answers.

    Pick a number from 1-9,
    Then multiply by 3,
    Then add 3,
    Then multiply by 3 again.

You should have a two digit number, add the two digits together, which will give you a one digit number.

Find your all time most watched film from the list:
    1. Gone With The Wind
    2. Forrest Gump
    3. Aliens
    4. Rain Man
    5. Star Wars
    6. Saving Private Ryan
    7. Jaws
    8. Grease
    9. Gay Dwarves Do Each Other Doggy Style
    10. Mary Poppins
  2. To the hole.
  3. Very perceptive but ill stick with my all time fave 13 minute cinefilm of 2 ATC instructors double tonguing the arrse of a frightened looking child
  4. It works.

    Mine was number 9.
  5. Bugger!

Either i mis-counted or you have been spying on me!

  6. That is amazing! Who would have thought the 9 times table would could have been put to such psychic use. It certainly worked for me.
  7. I didn't even do the math, I picked number 9 straight away!

Wierd or what, best viewed in widescreen!

  8. how come i got 5?
  9. Because you're a retard?
  10. Or.... because Applehead is a Star Wars fan?

question is which is more embarrassing ?
  11. Ok, I pick 8, multiply by 3 = 18, add 3 = 1B, multiply by 3 = 51, add digits together = 6.

    6. Saving Private Ryan

  12. Now, gosh darn it. I ain't one fer no goshdarned book learni' nor nuffink but 8 x 3 = 18 8O :?
  13. It does in Hexadecimal (Base 16). At no point does the "test" specify which number base you have to use.
  14. Well all I have to say to that is 01000111010110001001000101011

    So there
