Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Im interested to know for a fact whether ACF SMIs do or do not hold the Queen's Warrant?

I understand that ACF Officers do hold a Type B Commission but I cannot see how an ACF SMI can hold the Queen's Warrant if there rank is SMI not WO2 or WO1.
  2. NO, they are civilian boys club leaders who happen to wear a uniform that resembles what the British Army wears
  3. No.
  4. Oh and by the way Regular Warrant Officers can hold the APPOINTMENT of SMI
  5. Cheers, that makes things alot clearer!
  6. the hold a pocket full of haribos, 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O
  7. Of course they can. All they need to do is open a shop, suply goods or services to HM, get a warrant, dislay a big f*ck off badge on the side of their shop.
  8. Not if you are Egyptian, they make you take the sign down
  9. That's true. but would you have to salute him?
  10. They dont as they are NOT Warrant Officers, they are all CFAV Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (as it says on thier MOD90)

RSMI (Not a WO1, alhtough some like to think they are)
SMI (Not a WO2, never will be a WO2 as long as thier arrse points downwards)
  11. No, but they'd probably hold a little boys winkle while he wee weed if there was only a slight risk of getting caught.
