every city and town are doing this now. shame but there you go thats their own fault for thinking out of town designer outlets were the way to go, if they legalised the happy ending massage chain then they could fill the old shops up again :)

  3. I doubt even that would fill a third of them. This is just plain daft.

"In Town" shopping is dead and gone. It's not coming back.

    Move on.

  4. Political beer goggles...

Our version is different though, we have military beer goggles...they work better with fat foreign lasses after a Friday post lunch plead to the pay clerk for an AR payment...

Military beer goggles...work 60% of the time...every time...

  5. We've already got 'paint on' governance, so why not go the whole hog?

  6. Not to worry the Bilderberg Group is meeting in Watford in June!

  7. Relative lives in Enniskillen. Woke up to find scaffold going up out side the building and a paint job. Nice.

  8. Shouldn't CMD be showing the G8 how shit reality is, rather than this "la la la, everything is rosy" bollocks? If they think that Northern Ireland is prosperous, won't they think that we have turned the corner and its all gravy from here on in? The Powers That Be live in cloud cuckoo land as it is, they don't need window-dressing to reinforce that.

  10. Gentlemen... It's in NI.

Chances of it surviving a fortnight without it's true form being made obvious?

    ;)

  11. They've done similar in my home town. It's all a bit North Korean really.

Parts of east Belfast were also similarly done up for her maj's visit to Stormont. Coming up the newtownards road a friend stood on the brakes and parked at the side of the road.
    'New bookshop' he said.
    'Round here'?
Then he realised there were half a dozen painted up shops

    Guess the dullard. Anyone?

  14. And what makes it worse?

  15. Is the weird wee camera shop still on the Newtownards Road?
Used to be just above the Arches.
