Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hi there, i was just wondering if anyone on here was part of the DHU. I'm just looking for someone i can talk to and ask a few questions as im considering a transfer.

  2. Stand by! Stand by!

  3. At least they are consistent with the inability to use the Shift Key !

  4. I'm not at the DHU but if you have any questions, I might know a man that knows a man with a dog that I could speak to on someone's behalf. Send me a PM.

  5. I'm no expert, but maybe giving the Recruiting WO a quick call to check eligibility for transfer before thinking about where you might want to specialise would be the correct CoA.

  6. Be at Millenium Bridge midnight. Wear a red flower. Say "The dog sleeps mainly in the barn". I'm the bloke in the jacket. Tell nobody.

  7. JOURNO ALERT. OR BELLEND ALERT. OR JOURNO BELLEND ALERT.

  8. No need to shout Alaarm!

rt89 you should read 2009DIN02-002, all will be made clear.

Edited to correct an error made by the DII search engine and corrected by Priest below. Ta.

And edited again because of dyslexic ginfers.

  9. I suspect that a trasfer will be out of the question if this is an example of your information gathering skills.

    To the HOLE!

  10. Replaced by 2009DIN02-002 no?

  11. You are quite right Priest, fucking DII search engine wrong again!

  12. Search engine?

I thought it was a random document lottery.

  13. Davros, any chance of locking this thread before someone posts something that they shouldn't?

  14. Agreed in some respect. Typically these threads about certain units attract a lot of attention. I am going to clip this one now as I have had a PM from the OP. He has had a briefing on the job in question, as we all may well have, and was simply asking for an opinion on what it was 'really like' in order for him to decide if he wants to apply or not. His query has been directed towards the relevant parties and is thus complete.
