Sirs, Gents (and Laaaadies)

I don't post much, as I am not quick enough to keep up with you lot, however, after recent Christmas parties (note: never use Xmas!)
and a forced "Mama Mia!" dvd on Crimbo day, I wondered how should the "Old & Bold" dance in their declining years?

Ms Streep is approx. 4 years older than me and I would!

So, having a small glass of Vino....

My parents taught me to Waltz, Military Two Step and the Valeeta (sp), also Knees up Mother Brown after a suitable amount of Sherry, Johnny Walker.

At my first wedding, (Yes, you can larf!) a lot of strange Geman type dancing on tables (Eins, zwei, zuffel?)

Next one was some hippy flailing of the arms to "Careful with that Axe, Eugene" at the second wedding.

I am not tooooooooooo sure on the third, but it was definately Michael Jackson...a slow one...someone help me out here!

Last, and final, so Mrs VOIMH says..whose those nice guys that sang "Highest mountain" etc. I wanna live with you in a whatever....

BT

.. ..

Back on track, at OH Christms party, I was fine until the following:

Ra Ra Rasputin - Cue cossack dancing
Staurdayday Night Fever - Sh..t
Ymca - always 2 letters behind!

Conversation with the Boss the day after:

Did I f**k up?
No, They think you're cute!
Cute! I'm fecking 555555 years old!
No, they really like you!

Gradually, the strange dancing comes back..... and poll?

So, your parents danced like crap.
Your kids, Grandkids dance like crap
You are the bestest ever dancer and it doesn't matter if I look like a Partt
I don't dance.. I am the frigging wallflower in the corner.

If anyone is interested, and clever enough...sort me a poll!

Cheers Easy!

VIMH
