A rooster that had been fitted with a knife for an illegal cockfight has killed its owner in southern India.

The bird's owner was impaled in the groin by the knife as the animal tried to escape. The man died on the way to hospital from a loss of blood.

The animal was held at a police station before being transferred to a farm. "It fell up the stairs, Guv."

the powerplants in the earlier ones, are a trifle primitive, and they have a habit of biting their own arses dont they ?

It’s more a lack of inertia ( both in rotational components) they slow down quickly when the power goes so you need to be shit hot on initiating an autorotation if it goes quiet.and lack mass generally( they are twitchy).ALso they really haven’t the power to do, two up, what most outsiders expect a helicopter to do.
This was told to me by an old and bold jet ranger Jocky who seemed to know his onions.
Also many owners fit the description by my old CFI. “ Just because you can buy the bakery, doesn’t mean you can bake cakes”.
