Bobby Ball (of Cannon & Ball fame) has died after testing positive for Covid-19.

Ball (76), a born again Christian is survived by his wife Yvonne and family. Oh, and by Tommy Cannon (who I thought died a while back).
David Beckham has offered to do the reading at Bobby's funeral, because he is a Dead Ball Specialist.

I had the displeasure of working in a nightclub he visited in Guildford in the early '80s. He was a nasty piece of work then, but apparently saw the error of his ways when he found God. Let's see what stories emerge now he's gone.
Lovely bloke, he was good to his mother you know,

Think we missed one? James Randi has died and I can't see a post on it.

Magician and psychic debunker.

On a 1972 episode of “The Tonight Show,” he helped Johnny Carson set up Uri Geller the Israeli performer who claimed to bend spoons with his mind. Randi ensured the spoons and other props were kept from Geller’s hands until showtime to prevent any tampering.
The result was an agonizing 22 minutes in which Geller was unable to perform any tricks.

It's eerie, but in the past couple of years, one of the Chuckle Brothers, one of Little and Large and now one of Cannon and Ball have died. I think we are going to get a run of half a double act dying . And the other half tend to get a long run if you look at the double acts from the 70s and 80s - Morcambe and Wise, Les Dennis and Dustin Gee, The Two Ronnies being examples.

Circle of life.
Same as pop & rock stars...all just getting past the ol' Sell By date.

Yes it's strange they don't die simultaneously.
