Dead Pool 2020

Indeed, around that time Leeds had a goalkeeper who replaced Gary Sprakr, David Hay, he wa# a decent keeper and Leeds won a few trophies with him between the sticks. After football he got a job as a postman, can you imagine a keeper playing for any PL club let alone a top 4 club retiring from football and having to get a job as a postman.
You’d hope he wouldn’t drop your parcels

Am sure there's a newspaper headline, from between the posts to delivering post.

Sir Ian Holm has died, cause being Parkinson’s

Just watched a summary of his work on the Beeb. Astonishing career - one of those actors who was never really the star, but what a portfolio of performances.
RIP.

Beaten to it with Ian Holm... farewell Bilbo Baggins...
He did pretty well, it's been over 40 years since an alien burst out of his stomach, that's not a bad innings

Slightly off topic but there was an interesting programme Brian Moore meets Kevin Keegan on last week.
He was on £22k per year at Liverpool in 1976
That raised to £122 per year when he went to Germany with his endorsements he was reckoned to be on £400k.
Top money for 1976
Raised? From £22k per annum to £122 per annum!
I think that's one hell of a pay cut to £2:35 ish a week.

Did you go to the Diane Abbot school of accounting? He took a massive pay cut but but still earned £400k.

Joel Schumacher gone at 80

He did make some good movies early on, including one of my favourites Falling Down.

I'll still never forget the Batman Animated Series for taking a jab at him for what he did to Batman Forever though
