DDoS on ARRSE?

Discussion in 'ARRSE: Site Issues' started by Gremlin, Dec 17, 2010.

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Gremlin

    Gremlin LE Good Egg (charities)

The server keeps showing as overloaded.

Are we getting blatted, or is the new toy breaking inside its warranty?

  2. Calm down dear, it's only an overload.

Who's doing it? Assange supporters? I thought most people were supporting the wiki-licky leaks? We knew most of the 'revelations' anyway.

Something to do with wheelchairs would be my guess; if it is happening at all.

  6. Sgt Slingsby site was hacked and was still OOS as of last night

It'll be offline for a while yet. The site is undergoing a complete rewrite, including changing the backend.

  8. Has someone been hiring cut-rate programmers from the Special School?

Poor Bear, that will be painful!!

  10. If it is being hacked by friends of the Dalek mong, is it any surprise? It's to be expected when pricks from here go onto the student's sites/web pages admitting they're from arrse when they leave a comment. Why say '**** you, you gopping unwashed students.....by the way, I'm from arrse'? They even log on under their arrse user names. *****.

That is ******* retarded. I assume you are on about the boyo who was involved in the protests? I know **** all about it, but any twat who goes on those sites with their Arrse username and haw haws can't really be surprised if their own accounts get hacked.

That pretty much mirrors my thoughts about it.
