Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Nice to see The Mall toppers with people. If 225000 in Edinburgh mean the Government should listen then the numbers (how many?) cheering HM and HRH yesterday must mean the same with bells on.

Listen to this Guardianistas. The monarchy is popular, especially when HM and HRH stand tall, in the open, not cowering, Duke in uniform, campaign medals taking priority (he drops the technically senior gongs for such occasions-respect).

Mr Bliar, HM the Queen is Head of State and our Commander in Chief, not you. The Duke has been at the pointy end. It is they and our old boys (and girls) to whom we look to for an example of how to behave in the face of terrorists. Please don't send us any leaflets.

For those veterans on their final parade and those who have gone before them:

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember you.

  2. Hear, hear, seadog - nothing more to add really.
