I am somewhat disappointed that David Davis would support this as i felt he was one of few MPs who actually understood what it was to live in a free society.

The protesters could have been arrested for behaviour liable to provoke a breach of the Queen's Peace, for obstruction, for disorderly conduct. If the Police aren't interested in enforcing any of those laws, why would they suddenly start enforcing a new one?

He has tried before, unfortunately the tories think what this country needs is another Tony Bliar-lite character.
This alone gives me massive doubts as to wether the conservatives are fit for task,as they have elected a salesman, and not a leader,to their highest postion.
For me its a no brainer.
Do we want to see a Bullingdon club fop in charge of UKPLC?A man who famously suggested that the feral underclass in our land are simply poor misunderstood creatures who 'need a hug'?
Or do we want to see an ex blade who has grafted to his position and,in the political sense, made personal sacrifices in the finest tradition of HMF by standing up and being counted in the face of state authoritarianism?
IMHO there is a chance,a slim one,to get a genuine leader into the hotseat.
