Some mental candidates in here, unfortunately no deaths (yet) from cheese rolling down a very steep hill:

Classic:

Take cannabis
Ride stolen motorbike
No insurance
No brake pads
worn out front tyre
Pull 100mph wheelies on a city street
Meet car at 70mph
Then meet roadside "furniture"
Die.
Net IQ of country rises slightly

Young dad drove motorbike at more than 100mph before crash that killed him
The bike was stolen
The vehicle had two defects - rear brake pads which had worn away and a front tyre that was worn below the legal limit
The speed limit on East Prescot Road, close to Ashover Avenue, is 40mph and witnesses said Mr Owens was travelling at least double that speed.
Analysis showed Mr Owens, from Dovecot, was speeding between 89-107mph at one stage before the crash, but was close to 66mph when the fatal crash took place
Mr Owens had been seen undertaking traffic and the collision was captured on a number of CCTV cameras in the area
Toxicology tests also revealed the presence of "relatively recent" cannabis use in Mr Owens' body

Standard of reporting is Liverpool Echo [produced in Manchester] standard shite but you get the idea.
