Daily Mirror - front page apology

#2
Having to put out a headline like that must scour the depths of a tabloid editors soul. They normally bury apologies and corrections somewhere around the letters page.
Anyway, back to Morgan; as a member of the US National Guard might say:
"Boy, sorry jist ain't good enough; you gotta git on yoor knees an' do some suckin'!"

Good start but now Trinity Mirror must get that cheque book out and try some damage limitation by buying some broadcasting time in Iraqi to apologise to the British Army and the Iraqi people.
The Mirror has blood on it's hands and there's more than an apology needed here.
