Dads ww2 39-45 war record. L A Ashton

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I am looking for details of my dads ww2 service, he died in 1985 but was involved from 39-45, involved in France Dunkirk, then North Africa and Italy (Monte Cassino) and finished the war in Greece ( I believe). His name is Leonard Arthur Ashton and was in the RASC as a driver, could anyone point me in the right direction. I believe some war records have been lost but being in RASC he was attached to various units so I'm sure there would be some trail still available. Kind Regards.
