D-Day maps available

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. In the wake of the reminder/pointer on source for ‘After the Battle’ magazines, another that may be useful is Alan Godfrey Maps. These are the printers so you can’t get any more direct. Their main thing is old Ordinance Survey maps of Britain, but, they have moved into other areas including WWII D-Day.

Some of these have turned-up on eBay and sold for silly money – silly because they can be bought new for only £2.20 each and a few P postage!

And, if you’ve had enough (again) of Noddy Holder or Roy Wood screaming ‘Merry Christmas’, you may want to soothe the spirit with some outstanding bargains on Amazon for Julie London CD’s, low as around £4.00 in the ‘Used and New’ listings where they usually turn out to be new - check for UK sellers. To find out what tracks are on which, search CD Connection’s track listings. :thumright:
