If the former Royal Marine Dan O’Mahoney, the Clandestine Channel Threat Commander, is to employ and use, his resourceful, military skills, and cunning . . . I will be impressed . . . if surprised .Towing them back to France, as soon as they have started/set-off, does make sense.
Using them to replace, replicate, the work already done by the existing craft - and bring the inflatables to Kent - does not make sense.
The (overloaded) inflatables are not sea-worthy, even with their puny, little, outboard motors.
Towing the inflatables at any speed, will surely flood and sink the inflatables, and result in the contents floundering in the water . . . from which the jet-skies are/will be, unable/inadequate to rescue them.
THIS PLEASES ME !!
He can claim the new jet-skies replace the existing expensive to run/crew/operate/maintain craft, which are all to be "stood-down" and immediately transferred to the "Small Ships" division of the RN, based FAR AWAY in Southampton.
The ensuing chaos mentioned above, should serve as the deterrent, some/many on this thread have been advocating since the start.
THIS PLEASES ME EVEN MORE !!
