The credit crunch as affected the recruitment into the army with alot of men and woman signing up because of hard times financially and no security within jobs.

personally i dont know if this spur of the moment decision to join up will effect the army in the long run when money starts coming back into the economy and people think 'what the hell have i got myself into, i want out'.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Same thing happened in the early eighties. Some will stay beyond their minimum term others won't. It just means we can fill most if not all of the slots currently vacant. :)
